Pulse Driver Training

Risk Management Solutions

Health and Safety law has become more robust over the last few years and will continue to do so as the Government seeks to reduce the number accidents and fatal incidents on the road. Around 1/3 of all incidents on the road involve someone who is on their way to work or driving for work. This means that pressure on employers to show appropriate duty of care to their employees who drive for work purposes is increasing. If it is found that appropriate duty of care has not been shown, employers and responsible managers can be personally prosecuted as well as the company. A company can also be heavily fined if found to be at fault in the event of a fatality as set out in the Corporate Manslaughter Act 2007. With this increasing legislation it makes sense for employers to seriously think about the risks to their employees while they are driving in a work vehicle or driving for work purposes to help protect themselves and their company.

Pulse Driver Training can provide appropriate solutions that meet the needs of individual companies rather than a one solution for all approach.

Our solutions start by completing a risk assessment of the driving at work activities. The risk assessment and report will be done by a health and safety professional from Health and Safety Associates Ltd. We will then use the report to create a profile of the company and their driving activities. From this profile we can identify the risks and plan an appropriate risk management strategy. This strategy could include anything from driving checklists to seminars to driver training.

Risk management for company driving is an ongoing concern and as such Pulse Driver Training will continually work with clients to make sure the risk management strategy stays appropriate, is monitored correctly and delivered to the highest standards.

Pulse Driver Training’s aim is to provide an exceptional service that will allow for many years of working together with clients to care for their employees driving for work.
