We believe that our intensive courses are some of the best intensive driving courses for learners in the country.

After completing one of our intensive driving course pupils will have had the equivalent of 6-8 months worth of lessons and should be ready to take and pass the driving test with confidence. The Pulse intensive driving course really does give pupils a head start in preparation for passing the test and being able to drive competently and safely long after they have gained their full licence. As with all of our courses, the intensive driving course teaches proactive rather than reactive driving to help increase our students awareness of road conditions, hazards and other traffic which ensures that they will be able to read the road ahead and take action on potentially dangerous situations before they occur.

Every intensive course is carried out by a highly qualified DSA approved instructor on a one to one basis. The course will cover all the essential elements needed to pass the test and also cover other skills that we believe are essential to stay safe on the road after passing the test.

Before the practical test can be booked pupils will need to have passed the theory test. Pulse will provide free theory test help before the intensive driving course starts to maximise the chances of passing the theory test first time.

Once the theory test has been passed and the week long intensive driving course has been completed and pupils have demonstrated they can drive to a high standard, Pulse Driver Training will arrange for the practical test to take place as soon as possible with our priority practical test booking service. We will endevour to arrange for tests to take place in less time than the current DSA waiting list to get you passed and on the road as soon as possible.

Our aim is to teach all learner drivers to a higher standard than is required to pass the test. We strongly believe as a driver training company it is our responsibility to go above and beyond the expected training standards.
